In 1997, Barbara Pender, undergoing radiation therapy for the second time, perchased Andra Sina Relief Lotion. She was amazed her skin had not burned like her first series of radiation treatments years earlier. Channel 8 TV News in San Diego interviewed Barbara about her experience with Relief Lotion. It's no accident! In 1935, Dr's. C. E. and C. Collins, as reported in the "American Journal of Roentgenlogy", showed that applying the fresh gel from the "Emerald" Aloe leaf to skin damaged by X-ray treatments somehow regenerated the tissues. The fresh gel was only effective for a short period of time and therefore aloe never garnered much attention from the medical profession . . . until 1942, when our mentor on a personal mission to find an effective treatment for sunburn discovered "Emerald" Aloe through the Seminole Indian Tribe in South Florida.
Through years of trial and error, he became the first to stabilize "Emerald" Aloe without destroying any of its miraculous healing properties. He formulated the first aloe burn ointment containing 55% of the fresh aloe "gel". He pioneered aloe research with extensive scientific testing of the "Emerald" Aloe Ointment on third degree thermal burns in an independent FDA approved laboratory.
This Burn Research proved "Emerald" Aloe ointment helps stop damage to the skin within 30 minutes of application! Burns treated with the "Emerald" Aloe ointment healed twice as fast as untreated burns or burns treated with another burn ointment and with little or no scaring. In contrast, the untreated burns took twice as long to heal and healed with gross scarring.
The Burn Research was submitted to the FDA and they took no exception to anything contained in the report. The Aloe Ointment was later granted a U.S. Government General Services Administration contract for use in the NASA Space Program.
